Rural Development

The Rural Development program provides payments to owners of USDA-financed Rural Rental Housing or Farm Labor Housing projects on behalf of low-income tenants unable to pay their full rent.

There are 48 Rural Development units that offer rental assistance for qualified families
24 of these units are 1-2BR for the elderly/ disabled.
24 additional units from 1BR – 2BR that are not designated elderly/ disabled.
